When Love Comes to Town- Herbie Hancock feat. Joss Stone and Jonny Lang

i'll buy this cd when i have the money!

Ran into a juke joint when I heard a guitar scream,
The notes were turning blue as days as a little dream
As the music played I saw my life turn around,
That was the day before love came to town

yeah yeah yeah

okay anyway, i cannot wait for this semester to be over. it's killing my spirits like acid on jake gyllenhal's face. i hope i can ace this semester. i've been working as hard as i'm playing, or so i believe.

:)

there's gonna be a bbq at mal's place this friday! i'm kinda excited about it for some reason. hahaha. perhaps i miss his brother's pet snake. i love gatherings. i love meeting the people whom i used to have fun with and didn't have to give 2 cents about what they think of me.

i said sth to someone recently, that "people aren't as special as they think are, or as screwed up as they think they are".
sometimes, we're just mediocre. i often lament about being an ordinary person. what use does God have for people like me? He has high flyers to deal with the big business, and smaller characters to clean up the crap. so what about me?

then you realise that 90% of the people on this planet are asking the same questions that you are; perhaps it's not so bad running between lines instead of on them, save that it gets quite rowdy because everybody else is also struggling to be someone. if anything, i feel like i'm in an endless race where someone is always ahead of you, no matter how fast you go or how fantastic you can be.

one day, we'll all drop out at our pace, and maybe we'll go to Heaven and talk about our experience with God. then we'll move on to another life, and repeat the same thing for eternity, always trying to complete the rat race that never finishes.

i feel like i'm running out of vocabulary. hahaha.
